PRODUCTION

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR ✨​

We are looking for a part-time rockstar to coordinate the magic behind the scenes and on show nights.

🕒 The Commitment

  • Duration: The series runs for 7 consecutive Sundays, Sept. 27th-Nov. 8th, Zephyr Theatre in Hollywood. Full 7-week series commitment.

  • Hours/Pay: Approx. 8 hours/week (non-consecutive). $30/hour. Possible added hours early Sept. as available.

  • Breakdown: 4 hours of flexible prep during the week + 4 hours on-site on show nights.

 

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Artist Liaison: Communicate via email pre-show, arrange call times, and manage tech/sound checks on the night of the performance.

  • Crew Coordination: Sync with booth and house staff regarding their schedules and duties.

  • Show Night Execution: Open the theater, set up the stage, greet the audience, keep the evening running seamlessly, and handle lock-up.

  • Public Face: Occasionally step on stage to give a warm welcome and introduce the evening to our audience.

HOUSE MANAGER 

We need a super-friendly, calm, organized, and observant presence to handle ticket sales, anchor our front-of-house, and ensure a seamless day-of-show experience.

🕒 The Commitment

  • Duration: Full 7-week series commitment.

  • Hours/Pay: Approx. 6 hours/week (non-consecutive). $20/hour

  • Breakdown: 2 hours of flexible prep during the week (checking our online ticket platform) + 4 hours on-site on show nights.

 

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Ticket Liaison: Keep up with online ticket sales, communicate with producers regarding sales numbers, and download the final will call list on day-of-show

  • Show Night Execution: Assist in setting up the theatre as needed, set up the box office, check-in the audience, open the house, and smoothly transition stragglers into theater seating. Help restore the box office and theater space post-show.

  • Space & Safety Advocacy: Serve as a confident, alert presence in the lobby and entrance area. Maintain excellent situational awareness to ensure our patrons, artists, and volunteers feel secure and welcome from the moment they arrive until they leave.

House

SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGNER/COORDINATOR (REMOTE) 

We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer/Coordinator to bring our season to life visually across social media!

If you love translating the energy of live performance into vibrant digital assets, we want to hear from you.

🕒 The Commitment & Pay

  • Project Timeline: 7-week show series cycle (plus upfront asset creation).

  • Location: 100% Remote.

  • Compensation: $1050 flat stipend for the project (calculated at $25/hour for an estimated 42 total hours of design/revision and implementation work across the series).

 

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Design 4 core series graphics and 28 weekly show graphics (32 assets total) that capture the vibrant energy of our 10th anniversary (no AI use, we want to support

  • Copywriting & Scheduling: Craft engaging, on-brand captions for each post and schedule them to go live on our social channels according to an agreed-upon schedule.

  • Digital Vibe Check: Lightly monitor comments on those specific promotional posts to notify production staff when there are questions that need addressing.

 

🌟 Who You Are

  • A strong visual storyteller with examples of digital media, flyer, or promotional designs (bonus points if you have experience designing for the arts/theater!). It’s ok if you’re just beginning your career!

  • As an organization that champions living artists, we require all promotional graphics to be 100% human-created—no generative AI.

  • Organized, responsive, and able to hit weekly deadlines reliably.

  • A collaborative creator who leads with empathy and kindness, and is excited to help a positive nonprofit organization shine.
